Aim
To create a non-GMO, self-pick market fertilized by our hens, pollinated by our bees, watered by collected rain and harvested by you!
We are honest farmers with a deep passion for sustainability and caring for the earth. Our commitment is to grow organically, cultivate the land with integrity, and build a thriving community through food.
Our journey began with travel and life experiences that highlighted the importance of nourishment through connection to the earth, community and food! Our first seed planted and bloomed as the birth of our son who became our greatest inspiration, reminding us that the choices we make today shape the future we pass on to the next generations to come. From celebrating our very first harvest, we have witnessed the power of food to teach patience, resilience, and love.
We have invested in our land, having the soil tested and carefully cultivated through composting, hugelkultur and no-till gardening practices to ensure its long-term health and productivity while preserving the microbiome within the earth. Our approach is rooted in stewardship: treating the soil as a living system and growing food that is clean, nutrient-dense, and responsibly produced.
We believe food is the universal love language. It is the key to a healthy life and given the impact of the current food dessert within Baltimore, we would like to share our love by nourishing the community. Everyone needs to eat, and local food is not only fresher and better tasting—it is also better for the body, the community, and the planet. Through farming, we strive to create deeper connections between people and the food they eat, while fostering a community that values sustainability, health, and care for one another.
