We’re making a fearless feature film with Luke, living with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s — to capture his story while he still remembers.
I’m a director and producer who didn’t want to make an Alzheimer’s movie.
I wanted to make a comedy or horror film, something with grit and drama, laughter and joy, and a kick-ass ending.
Then I met Luke.
He’s just… a superstar. He made me feel more alive than I had in years — while he’s the one living and dying with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s.

He’s swiping on dating apps.
Scuba diving.
Flying planes.
Volunteering at memory care facilities.
Making everyone around him laugh until their bellies hurt.

He’s choosing to tell his story — unfiltered and full of color — for the people he loves and the millions living through the same thing.
Luke wants to leave behind a time capsule for his young children. Something honest. Something lasting. A real look into this disease — and the painful journey that caregivers face, too.

Five generations of his family have suffered under Alzheimer’s. This time, he’s asking a different question:
“What if I get to choose my own ending, before the disease takes everything?”
We’ll explore that question — and others like it — with full transparency.
How will he know when it’s time?
What happens if he forgets to remember?

Forgetting To Remember isn’t a tragedy. It’s not a story about forgetting. It’s a story about remembering how we live is much more important than how we die.
Through Luke’s playful, fearless spirit, we’re going to Kick Alzheimer’s in the Balzheimer’s — capturing moments that echo the experience of families around the world. Caregivers, friends, and loved ones will see themselves in this film and know they’re not alone.

Luke’s story will inspire action — not just awareness. We want to empower audiences to support Alzheimer’s charities, to talk openly about this disease, and to rethink how we care for those living through it.

This film has been in the making for over a year. We’ve already captured extraordinary footage.
Our crew — editors, composers, colorists, engineers — are working on deferred or discounted pay because they believe in this story. But we now need your help to cross the finish line.

In the year I’ve spent with Luke, I’ve already seen change. Memory loss. Speech shifts. Moments slipping through.
I’m scared we won’t finish this in time.
I want to sit beside him in a theater, watching his story unfold on the big screen — while he still can.
This is a ticking clock. But we can beat it, together!

Whether it’s $10 or $10,000 — your contribution helps bring Luke’s story to the world. All donations are tax deductible.
If you’re able to give a larger amount and want to discuss recognition or involvement, please get in touch. We’d love to honor your support in a meaningful way.
Every dollar moves us closer to finishing this film — and making sure Luke’s voice is heard far and wide.
This isn’t a sob story.
This is a fight.
It’s messy, honest, and full of life. Just like Luke.
